300S plays to a younger, yet still sophisticated audience while the SRT8® concentrates on performance evidenced by its 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine with Fuel Saver Technology. It delivers 45 hp more than the 6.1L engine it replaces with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque and kicks the quarter mile in the low 13-second range.

Chrysler 300 models equipped with the Pentastar® V6 engine can opt for the new 8-speed automatic transmission delivering a fuel-efficient ride without losing its sporty edge and optimal shift quality, obtained through its three-path converter.
